Our First Desktop Application: The Desktop Uploader!

Here at MedicalPlexus were pleased to announce the release of our very first desktop application: The MedicalPlexus Desktop Uploader. The Desktop Uploader allows you to upload many files to your PlexDrive with ease. It also lets you store your preferred privacy settings, login automatically, and automatically upload new files created in a “watch” folder you specify. The “watch” folder is a great feature for people using PACS systems to select images of interest.

Now, here’s the uploader in action. First, the login screen: you log in with the same e-mail and password you use to login to the website.

Finally, here’s how the upload process looks. Each file uploads one after another, and you can describe the entire set while the upload progresses. Your stored privacy settings will automatically be applied, and you can add tags to every file in the group by entering them in just once.  Also, you can select from any of your MedicalPlexus contacts to list as contributors to a given file or file set.
